NEET-UG 2026 Cancelled Amid Massive Paper Leak Scandal: 22.79 Lakh Students Affected The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially cancelled the NEET-UG 2026 examination after serious allegations of a nationwide question paper leak surfaced. The decision, approved by the Government of India, has created uncertainty for nearly 22.79 lakh medical aspirants across the country. NEET-UG 2026 was conducted on May 3, 2026, at 5,432 centres in India and 14 centres abroad. However, soon after the exam, investigators uncovered evidence suggesting that portions of the paper had been leaked before the test.
